Fontana, California (January 11, 2020) – A driver was killed in a suspected DUI car accident that occurred in Fontana on Friday night, January 10.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened just before midnight on Sierra Avenue near Baseline Avenue.
Fontana Police Department said a Mercedes C230 was traveling
northbound in the southbound lanes when it collided head-on with a white
The driver of the Nissan was killed in the accident.
His brother later identified the deceased as George Estrada
The driver of the Mercedes sustained serious injuries and was
transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The authorities said the driver of the Mercedes was driving
under the influence.
No other information was provided.
