Coachella, California (January 10, 2020) – A pedestrian accident was reported in Coachella, Riverside County, on Thursday evening.

According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Frederick Street and Jalisco Avenue shortly before 6 p.m. January 9.

A vehicle is reported to have struck a pedestrian for unknown reasons.

The pedestrian was injured in the accident and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The motorist stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
