David Green Hit and Killed by Car at El Camino Real and Helen Avenue in Sunnyvale


Sunnyvale, California (January 10, 2020) – A man who was killed in a pedestrian accident at an intersection in Sunnyvale on Tuesday morning has been identified.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 6:20 a.m. January 7, in the area of El Camino Real and Helen Avenue.

The pedestrian, who was later identified by the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office as 47-year-old David Allen Green, was walking in the area and was hit by a car.

Green was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to a local hospital.

Sadly, the patient succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.

The motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

No other information was provided.

An investigation into the auto-accident is underway.
