1 Killed, 1 Injured in Multi-Car Accident on 60 Freeway at Crossroad Parkway in Industry


Industry, California (January 10, 2020) – One person was killed and another was injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened on Thursday night in Industry.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal accident was reported at about 10 p.m. January 9, in the westbound lanes of the 60 Freeway at Crossroads Parkway.

The police said three vehicles collided in the area for unknown reasons. One of the cars caught fire after the accident.

The paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced one person dead.

Another person sustained burns and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The identities of the victims were not publicly disclosed.

One person was detained at the scene, but their involvement in the accident was not immediately revealed.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
