Whittier, California (January 10, 2020) – A man has been arrested in connection with a major injury
hit-and-run car accident that occurred in Whittier on Thursday night, according
to a local news source.
The accident happened at about 10 p.m. January 9, on Pomona (60) Freeway near San Gabriel River (605) Freeway.
Wendall Faaborg, 42, of La Puente, was driving a 2014 Dodge Ram pickup truck
when he crashed into a 2004 Ford Mustang for unknown reasons.
Mustang reportedly caught fire after the collision, killing one occupant.

rear of a Toyota occupied by two people.
