Ruperto Baiza Dies in Menifee Pedestrian Accident on Highway 74 near McKinley Road


Menifee, California (January 9, 2020) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident that happened on Tuesday night in Menifee, the California Highway Patrol said.

The accident was reported at around 8:08 p.m. on Highway 74, just west of McKinley Road.

According to the authorities, 27-year-old Ruperto Baiza of Romoland was walking in the area when he was hit by a motor vehicle for unknown reasons.

Baiza was killed in the accident.

Details about the driver of the vehicle involved in the accident were not immediately provided.

An investigation into the auto-pedestrian accident is underway.
