Palm Springs, California (January 8, 2020) – A bicyclist was hospitalized after being struck by a car at an intersection in Palm Springs on Wednesday evening

According to the California Highway Patrol, the bicycle accident happened at about 5:32 p.m. January 8, in the area of Gene Autry Trail and Tachevah Drive.

The events leading up to the collision were not immediately established.

The bicyclist sustained unspecified injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
