Victor Can Dies in Pedestrian Accident at Baseline Street and Golondrina Drive in Highland, San Bernardino


Highland, California (January 8, 2020) –  Victor Manuel Matos Can died after being hit by a car in Highland, San Bernardino, on Sunday evening.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian accident happened in the area of Baseline Street and Golondrina Drive at about 5:45 p.m. January 5.

The authorities said the 62-year-old Highland man was walking in the area and was hit by a car.

Can sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.

The motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

No other information was provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
