Woman Injured in Car Accident at Highway 67 and Etcheverry Street in San Diego


San Diego, California (January 7, 2020) – A San Diego woman was injured in a two-car crash on State Route 67 in San Diego on Tuesday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 8:10 a.m. at Highway 67 and Etcheverry Street.

The authorities said the 57-year-old San Diego woman was driving a black Honda Accord northbound on the roadway when she collided with a silver Hyundai Sonata driven by an 85-year-old Ramona woman.

The unidentified woman was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to Palomar Medical Center Poway for treatment.

No other information was provided.

The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
