Police are searching for a Milwaukee driver who allegedly shot and injured two children after they threw snowballs at their car Saturday.
Milwaukee Police Department said the suspect was driving a white Toyota at the time of the incident.
Authorities said a 12-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy, together with several other children were throwing snowballs at passing cars. One of the snowballs struck the Toyota.
The driver of that car fired shots into the group of kids and wounded the girl and the boy.
Police officers responded to the scene at around 8:00 p.m. and offered first aid to the kids. The victims were later transported to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities will use surveillance footage from nearby homes to seek for clues.
