Selma, California (January 6, 2020) – 55-year-old Daniel Picazo has been identified as the man who was struck and killed by a train on Saturday afternoon in Selma, the police said.

The fatal accident happened at about 1:30 p.m. January 4, in the area of Golden State Boulevard and Saginaw Avenue.

Picazo was reportedly walking on the tracks when he was struck by the train for unknown reasons.

Picazo was killed in the accident.

No further information about the accident was provided.

The accident is under investigation.
