Lodi, California (January 6, 2020) – A bicyclist was struck and killed by a vehicle on Monday evening in Lodi, the police said.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the bicycle accident occurred at about 6:18 p.m. January 6, in the 6717 block of East Harney Lane.

The circumstances leading to the collision were not immediately established.

However, the police said the bicyclist was killed in the accident.

The identity of the deceased was withheld pending notification of next-of-kin.

No other information about the accident was provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
