2 Injured in Car Accident at Texas Street and Transportation Court in Fairfield


Fairfield, California (January 5, 2020) – Two people were injured in a head-on collision in Fairfield on Saturday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The accident was reported at about 10:32 p.m. January 4, at the intersection of North Texas Street and Transportation Court.

Two vehicles reportedly collided head-on on the roadway for unknown reasons.

One of the cars caught fire after the collision but was extinguished by the Fairfield Fire Department.

One person suffered major injuries in the accident and was rushed to a local hospital while a second person was hospitalized with minor injuries.
