Watsonville, California (January 3, 2020) – A woman was seriously injured in a car crash that happened on a Friday afternoon in Watsonville, the police said.
The accident was
reported at about 1:30 p.m. at Green Valley Road and Holohan Road.
According to a California
Highway Patrol report, a large white Ford F-150 pickup truck and a red
Toyota 4Runner SUV collided at the intersection for unknown reasons.
A female party
in one of the cars sustained serious injuries and was taken to Watsonville
Community Hospital. She was to be later airlifted to a nearby trauma center for
Police said both
vehicles involved sustained serious damage and were towed from the scene.
