Lincoln, California (January 3, 2020) – According to the California Highway Patrol, one person was killed in a car crash on Friday afternoon in Lincoln, Placer County.

The accident was reported at about 1:16 p.m., January 3, on Highway 65 near Nelson Lane.

A silver sedan is reported to have rear-ended a semi-tractor trailer truck that was hauling dirt. 

The authorities said one person was killed in the accident.

The identity of the victim was not publicly disclosed.

No other information was provided.

The authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
