Bicyclist in Critical Condition after Collision with Car in Richmond, San Francisco


San Francisco, California (January 3, 2020) – A bicyclist was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car in the Richmond district of San Francisco on Thursday evening.

The bicycle accident happened at about 6:07 p.m. January 2, in the area of 43rd Avenue and Fulton Street, near Golden Gate Park.

The California Highway Patrol said the bicyclist was hit by a car on the roadway for unknown reasons.

The unidentified victim was rushed to a local hospital for treatment of major injuries.

The motorist reportedly remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
