Gilroy, California (January 3, 2020) – At least one person was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Gilroy on Thursday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly crash was reported shortly after 9 p.m. January 2, on Highway 25 near Bloomfield Avenue.
The authorities who responded to the incident recovered a pickup truck and a van at the scene of the accident.
Although the events preceding the crash were not immediately established, the van is reported to have caught fire after the collision.
The authorities said one person was killed in the crash.
