At least eight people, including four children, were killed in a rocket attack at a school in the rebel-held town of Sarmeen in the Syrian province of Idlib, on Wednesday.
The attack was reportedly carried out by Syrian government forces on the country’s last opposition stronghold.
The White Helmets civil defense agency said the school was packed with students and teachers at the time of the attack.
At least 16 other people were wounded in the attack.
The attack is part of a month-long government operation to recapture villages and rebel-held towns.
