(January 2, 2020) – According to a California Highway Patrol report, one
person was seriously injured in Head-on collision that occurred in Oroville on
The accident was reported on Upper Palermo Road near Maple
Avenue at about 10:15 p.m. January 1.
As per the CHP incident log, a white sedan was traveling on
the roadway when it drifted across the centerline and collided head-on with a
blue Dodge Journey.
Fire department personnel who responded to the incident confirmed that at least one person sustained serious injuries in the collision.
No further information was provided.
The authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
