California (December 31, 2019) – 32-year-old Vanessa Garcia-Barbarin was killed
in a collision with a big rig on Monday evening in San Bernardino.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 11:20 p.m. December 30, at the intersection of Tippecanoe Avenue and Orange Show Road.
Garcia-Barbarin was driving a Volkswagen sedan through the intersection when
she collided with a Freightliner tractor-trailer driven by 52-year-old Sergio
Garcia-Barbarin was killed in the accident.
Medina was unhurt.
No other information was provided.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is ongoing.
