Skateboarder Hit, Injured by Car on Orangethorpe Avenue in Fullerton

1 Injured in Fullerton Pedestrian Accident on Orangethorpe Avenue


Fullerton, California (December 31, 2019) – A 17-year-old skateboarder was seriously injured after being hit by a car in Fullerton on Tuesday morning.

According to a local news source, the accident happened on West Orangethorpe Avenue at about 12:39 p.m.

Fullerton police said the teenager was skateboarding in the area when he was hit by a gray Mercedes sedan.

The unidentified sustained serious and life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

No other information was provided.

An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is underway.
