California (January 1, 2020) – A man was killed in a collision between an
off-road vehicle and a truck in an open desert in California City near
Bakersfield on Monday afternoon.
According to a local news source, the accident happened at about 4:30 p.m. December 30, near Lincoln Boulevard and 20 Mule Team Road.
44-year-old Scott A. Bean of Porter Ranch was reportedly
riding an off-road vehicle when she collided with a truck for unknown reasons.
The California Highway Patrol said Bean was killed in the accident.
