Hit-and-Run Driver Arrested for Injuring Pedestrian on North Court Street near Riverside Drive in Redding


Redding, California (December 31, 2019) – Terry Bessey, 49 of Redding was arrested after he allegedly hit a teenage pedestrian last week Monday.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 1 a.m. December 13, in the area of North Court Street near Riverside Drive.

Bessey confessed to hitting the teenager who was walking home from school before fleeing the scene.

He was later located and arrested for felony hit and run.

The unidentified juvenile is recovering from injuries.
