Riverside, California (December 31, 2019) – A pedestrian sustained
serious injuries after being hit by a car in the Mecca area of Riverside County
on Tuesday morning.
The accident happened in the area of Hayes Street and Avenue 71 at about 8:24 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
As per the report, a pedestrian was hit by a car in the area in unclear circumstances.
The Riverside County Fire Department
responded to the incident and attended to the pedestrian before being flown to
an area hospital in critical condition.
