Samantha Martinez Dies after DUI Driving Crashes into Business at Knox Road and Avenue 13 in Madera


Madera, California (December 30, 2019) – A woman who died after being hit by a car that crashed into a building in Madera on Saturday night has been identified.

The deadly collision occurred at about 9 p.m. December 28, in the area of Knox Road and Avenue 13.

According to the California Highway Patrol, 19-year-old Isiah Moore was driving a car when she lost control and crashed into a business, Master Storage 365.

As per the report, 20-year-old Samantha Martinez who was inside the car was killed in the accident.

Moore was taken into custody on DUI and vehicular manslaughter charges.

No other information was provided.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
