California, California (December 30, 2019) – A pedestrian died after being hit by a car in California City near Bakersfield on Monday morning.

According to a local news source, the deadly collision happened in the 7000 block of California City Boulevard between Victor Way and Yerba Boulevard at an unspecified time in the morning.

California City firefighters said a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle for unknown reasons.

The pedestrian was killed in the accident.
