Danny McCurry Injured in Williams Truck Accident on 5 Freeway


Williams, California (December 29, 2019) – A man was injured in a traffic collision involving two semi-trucks in Williams, Colusa County, on Sunday morning.

According to a local news source, the accident happened at about 3:30 a.m. on Interstate 5 Freeway.

The California Highway Patrol said a white 2013 Freightliner was traveling southbound on the freeway when it merged in front of a white 2018 Freightliner.

The two trucks collided leaving the white 2018 Freightliner with major damage.

The driver of the 2018 truck, Danny McCurry, was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The second driver was unhurt.

No other information was provided.

An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is ongoing.
