Victoria Emergency Management Warns Tourists Visiting the State

The Australian authorities have urged thousands of people to evacuate as bushfires continue burning across the country.

The bushfires continue to wreak havoc in parts of Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia.

More than 300,000 have been advised to evacuate East Gippsland region of Victoria with the authorities expressing fears that the gusting winds and soaring temperatures would exacerbate the fires.

Victoria Emergency Management Agency also issued travel advisories to tourists visiting the areas warning that it was “not possible” to provide assistance to all visitors.
