Canyon Country, California (December 30, 2019) – Two people were flown to a hospital after being injured in a pedestrian accident in Canyon Country, Santa Clarita, on Sunday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Soledad Canyon Road near Sierra Highway at about 3:15 p.m. December 29.
The authorities said an adult pedestrian and a 2-year-old child were hit and injured by a car in the area.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department said the two pedestrians were injured in the accident and were flown to a local hospital for treatment.
No other information was provided.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is ongoing.
