Woman Killed in Los Angeles Ambulance Accident in Playa Vista Neighborhood


Los Angeles, California (December 28, 2019) – A woman was killed in a collision between an ambulance and a taxi in the Playa Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles on Saturday morning.

The accident was reported at about 8:30 a.m., according to a local news source.

The California Highway Patrol said an ambulance that was responding to a call and a cab collided on in the neighborhood for unknown reasons.

A 60-year-old female passenger in the taxi was killed in the accident. Her identity was not immediately disclosed.

A man who was driving the taxi and two LAFD firefighters suffered minor injuries in the accident.

No other information was provided.

The authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
