San Diego, California (December 27, 2019) – 47- year-old Graciela Mondragon has been identified as the
woman who died after being hit by a vehicle on a Monday afternoon, December 16,
in San Diego.
As per a local news report, the accident took place at around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of North Park Way and 31st Street.
Mondragon was reportedly attempting to cross
North Park Street when a 2014 Toyota Corolla that was making a left turn from
westbound North Park Way onto 31st Street struck her.
Mondragon suffered a skull fracture, facial
injuries, and a brain bleed that required surgery.
She was rushed to the hospital where she was
pronounced dead two days later.
The motorist stopped after the accident and
cooperated with the authorities.
No other information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
