(December 27, 2019) – Eight people were
injured after a vehicle crashed into a tribal hall building during a funeral
service on Thursday afternoon in Thermal, according to the authorities.
The accident was reported at about 5:09 p.m. in the 66000 block of Martinez Road.
As per a local news report, an SUV crashes into the hall for
unknown reasons causing significant damage to the building.
The authorities said that eight people, including the driver of
the vehicle involved, were injured in the accident.
One of the victims had serious injuries while the rest were
hospitalized with minor and moderate injuries.
No further information regarding the accident was provided.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
