Visalia, California (December 25, 2019) – A 50-year-old woman was killed in a bicycle accident on Monday evening in Visalia, according to the authorities.

The fatal accident happened at about 6:30 p.m. December 23, on Mooney Boulevard near Walnut Avenue.

As per a police report, a 50-year-old woman was riding her bicycle in the southbound lanes when a 2004 Ford F-150 hit her for unknown reasons.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and found the woman unresponsive

The woman was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, where she later succumbed to her injuries.

The identity of the deceased was not disclosed pending notification of the family.
