Mission Hills, California (December 26, 2019) – One person was killed in a car accident on Thursday morning in Mission Hills, Los Angeles.

The fatal collision occurred at about 7 a.m. on Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway near Sepulveda Boulevard, according to a local news source.

The authorities said a woman was driving a car westbound on the roadway when it was hit by a second car for unknown reasons.

The impact of the accident caused one of the cars to overturn.

A light pole was brought down by the collision.

As per the report, a woman was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to a local hospital where she died while undergoing treatment.

The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.

No further information was provided.
