Bicyclist Killed in San Bernardino Crash at Baseline Street and Crestview Avenue Identified

San Bernardino, California (December 25, 2019) – 87-year-old Andres Moreno has been identified as the bicyclist who was hit and killed by a vehicle on Monday afternoon in San Bernardino.

As per a local news report, the tragic accident occurred at about 4:16 p.m. at the intersection of Baseline Street and Crestview Avenue.

The police said Moreno was riding his bicycle through the intersection when a westbound driven by Harlean Byers, 80, struck him.

Moreno suffered serious injuries and was rushed to an area hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Byers stopped at the scene after the accident and cooperated with investigators.

 Authorities believe alcohol or drugs were not factors in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
