Barbara, California (December 23, 2019) – The authorities have
disclosed the identity of a pedestrian who was hit and killed by a car in Santa
Barbara on Friday night.
According to a local news source, the accident happened on Highway 101 near La Cumbre at about 6:10 p.m. December 20.
As per the report, 39-year-old Mark Richard McDonald was
walking in the southbound lanes of the roadway when he was hit by a car.
McDonald was killed in the accident.
Information about the motorist was not immediately providing.
No other information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
