California (December 24, 2019) – The identity of a driver who was killed in
a head-on collision in Bakersfield on Friday has been identified.
According to a local news source, the accident happened on South Union Avenue near State Route 223.
The California Highway Patrol said 44-year-old Carla Latrice
Strother was traveling on the roadway when he collided head-on with a wrong-way
Strother and the wrong-way driver was killed in the accident.
A passenger in one of the cars was also injured and was
hospitalized with major injuries.
No other information was provided.
