Pomona, California (December 22, 2019) – A man was hit and killed by a hit-and-run driver on Saturday
evening in Pomona, the authorities said.
The accident occurred at around 5:30 p.m.
December 21, in the area of Holy Avenue and St. Paul Street.
As per a police report, the man was struck by
the first vehicle whose driver fled the scene.
The unidentified pedestrian was then hit by another car.
The second driver remained at the scene and
cooperated with the authorities.
The Pomona Police Department said the
pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The name of the deceased was withheld pending
notification of next-of-kin.
