Man Killed in Ceres Pedestrian Accident on Mitchell Road near Service Road


Ceres, California (December 22, 2019) – A 60-year-old man was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver on Saturday evening in Ceres, the authorities said.

The fatal accident happened at about 6:15 p.m. in the 3800 block of Mitchell Road near Service Road.

As per a local news report, a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle that was traveling northbound on Mitchell Road.

The pedestrian was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The driver of the light-colored Nissan Altima drove away after hitting the pedestrian.
