2 Injured in Car Crash at South Edison Road and Herring Road in Arvin


Bakersfield, California (December 23, 2019) – The authorities are investigating the cause of a major injury car accident that occurred in Arvin on Sunday evening.

According to a local news source, the accident happened in the area of South Edison Road and Herring Road at about 5:19 p.m. December 22.

A sedan and a semi-truck are reported to have collided near the intersection for unknown reasons.

Medical personnel from the Kern County Fire Departments who responded to the incident had to extricate two people who were trapped inside the sedan.

The authorities said the victims sustained major injuries in the accident.
