(December 21, 2019) – A 63-year-old man was killed after a pedestrian collision
Wednesday evening in Merced, according to authorities.
The collision occurred
on Yosemite near Marthella Avenue at an unspecified time December 18.
Police said a vehicle
hit a 63-year-old man for reasons yet to be determined.
The man sustained fatal
injuries due to the collision.
It was not immediately
clear whether the man died at the scene or at the hospital.
The victim’s name was not immediately released awaiting notification of next of kin.
An investigation is underway.
