Woman Dies after Industry Train Accident near Salt Lake Avenue and Parriott Place


Industry, California (December 20, 2019) – Authorities are investigating a fatal train accident that left a woman dead Thursday morning in the area of Industry.

The collision occurred near Salt Lake Avenue and Parriott Place at about 7:50 a.m. December 19.

As per the CHP officials, a pedestrian was on the tracks when she was hit by an eastbound Union Pacific train for unknown reasons.

The pedestrian identified only as a woman aged between 30 and 40 years, was declared dead at the crash site.

The people aboard the train were not injured in the collision.

An investigation is ongoing.
