Man Killed in Redlands Pedestrian Accident on I-10 Freeway near Alabama Street


Redlands, California (December 19, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle early Wednesday morning, December 18, in Redlands.

The police said the deadly accident occurred at about 4:40 a.m. on 10 Freeway near the Alabama Street onramp.

As per a local news report, a man was walking on the freeway when he was hit by a westbound 2013 GMC Sierra driven by a 59-year-old Redlands resident.

The man was pronounced died in the accident.

The name of the deceased was not disclosed pending notification of next of kin.

No further information concerning the accident was provided.

An investigation into the incident is underway.
