Eureka, California (December 18, 2019) – A 9-year-old child was injured in a bicycle accident in Eureka on Wednesday evening.

According to a local news source, the accident happened at about 6 p.m. at the intersection of Harrison Street and 18th Street.

The unidentified child was riding a bicycle in the area and was hit by a car.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the child sustained injuries in the accident. The severity of the injuries sustained by the victim was not immediately established.
