California (December 18, 2019) – A woman was killed in a suspected
hit-and-run pedestrian accident in Westminster on Sunday evening.
According to a local news source, the accident happened in the area of Westminster Boulevard and Goldenwest Street at about 6 p.m. December 15
92-year-old Tin Thai Phan was walking in the area and was
hit by a car that fled the scene after the accident.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The motorist, 35-year-old Dung Quoc Kha, was arrested on
suspicion of DUI and vehicular manslaughter and felony hit-and-run.
No other information was provided.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
