Irvine, California (December
18, 2019) – A pedestrian was airlifted to the hospital after being struck and
seriously injured by a car in Irvine on Monday evening.
According to a local news source, the accident happened at
about 4:35 p.m. December 16, at Von Karman Avenue and Morse Avenue.
A pickup truck was reportedly traveling across the intersection and when it drifted off the roadway and hit a pedestrian who was walking on a sidewalk.
The pickup truck continued over a beam and crashed into a
black pickup truck and an Alfa Romeo SUV in a parking lot.
The pedestrian was seriously injured in the accident and was
flown to the hospital for treatment.
The motorist was injured in the collision and was
transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.
