Woman Killed in Car Crash on Highway 168 near Academy Oaks Lane in Clovis


Clovis, California (December 17, 2019) – A woman was killed in a car accident in Fresno on Monday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal car accident happened on Highway 168 near Academy Oaks Lane at about 11:30 a.m. December 16.

The authorities said a 50-year-old Clovis woman was driving a 2015 Jeep Renegade on Academy Oaks Lane and was attempting to turn onto Highway 168 and collided with a 2000 Ford F-350.

The impact of the collision sent both vehicles off the roadway.

The unidentified woman was flown to Community Regional Medical Center where she died while undergoing treatment.

The condition of the second motorist was not immediately established.

No other information was provided.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
