Teddy Woods Dies in Work Accident near Ficus Street in Pomona


Pomona, California (December 17, 2019) – 57-year-old Teddy Woods of Louisiana has been identified as the man who was struck and killed by a truck in Pomona on Saturday night.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 2894 Ficus Street at about 10:05 p.m. December 14.

The authorities said Woods was standing near two unhinged truck trailers and was guiding a truck operator that was backing out of a parking slot.

The truck reportedly hit one of the trailers causing Woods to lose balance and hit his head on a trailer.

Woods was pronounced dead at the scene.                                                                       

No other information was provided.

An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is ongoing.
