San Jose, California (December 15, 2019) – The authorities have disclosed the identity
of a pedestrian who was killed in an accident in West San Jose on Thursday
evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened in the area of Bollinger Road and Wunderlich Drive at about 6 p.m. December 12.
Om Prakash Muttreja, 84,
of Orlando, Florida, was crossing the street when he was hit by a car.
The pedestrian was pronounced
dead at the scene.
The female motorist remained
at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
No other information was
provided.
An investigation into the
accident is ongoing.
