Woman Injured in Normal Heights Pedestrian Accident at Adams Avenue and 34th Street


San Diego, California (December 13, 2019) – A 25-year-old woman was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident on Thursday evening in Normal Heights, San Diego.

According to a local news source, the pedestrian accident happened shortly before 7 p.m. December 12, at Adams Avenue and 34th Street.

The California Highway Patrol said the woman was walking a dog across the intersection when she was hit by a 2009 Volkswagen Jetta.

The woman sustained life-threatening injuries in the accident and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The dog was killed in the accident.

The female driver of the Jetta was unhurt.

No other information was provided.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
